Beat up old abandon building they are operating out of. Ambiance is non existent. Location on busy street yet hard to access. Parking lot is busted up. Donuts are below par of a grocery store Donut. Think day old reduced to a dollar at 4 pm in a grocery store.

It seems like quantity is prioritized over quality with these donuts. I LOVE donuts and always try the best local doughnut shop/bakery I can find when on vacation. So, I decided to give these a try due to the high ratings and reviews. I bought a half dozen of their most popular sellers (Boston Cream, Jelly, Glazed, etc). In general, the doughnuts are just too dense and bready. For me, the mark of a good doughnut is the ratio of glaze to bread along with airy-ness of the yeasty bread,, and these doughnuts just miss all the marks. I would rather have a “normal” sized donut with proper density and ratios than these massive pieces of dense and chewy bread with a razor thin layer of glaze on them. Additionally, their biggest seller (Boston Cream) was an even bigger letdown. The “custard” inside had the consistency and taste of a cheap vanilla pudding cup (as I suspect that’s exactly what it was). From one donut lover to another, I would consider other local options first.

Impress relatives with quality donuts & fritters! Seriously! Fantastic spot for some good ole fashioned DONUTS!!!! Amazing selection, different every day of the week basically. Indoor seating & ordering available! Menu is plentiful, as shown below. You have to try their apple fritters!

This place doesn’t look like a whole lot from the outside- but it happens to house the best glazed donut I’ve ever had! So light, so pillowy….perfectly baked. These donuts are huge too, like legit a full meal. And the apple fritter is the size of a large man’s head- like you could beat someone with it (not that I recommend that just eat it). Delicious. Make the trip, you won’t regret it. Oh and the ladies that helped us were so friendly and helpful!
